Lewis Spratlan Interview with Derek Perkins

Lewis Spratlan is the composer of the New England Concordance, a set of two original pieces commissioned by the Boston Saengerfest Men’s Chorus, and performed for the first time at Cary Hall, Lexington, Mass. on June 3, 2018.
He is an American music academic and composer of contemporary classical music. Currently a professor of Music at Amherst College, he has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music, and the Guggenheim and Rockefeller Fellowship for Creative Arts, US & Canada.
