How to Watch the Concert on YouTube

Dear Saengerfest Holiday Revelers, 

The “A Saengerfest Christmas Comes to You” concert is on Saturday 12/12/20. The Prelude begins at 3:55pm. Here are some details about how to view the concert. 

So that you don’t miss anything, I recommend getting ready for the Saengerfest concert around 3:30pm (earlier if you like!). Julia Carey’s amazing Piano Prelude begins at 3:55pm, and the Concert begins at 4:00pm.

[1] GET YOUR COMPUTER RUNNING (congratulations, you’ve already done that!) – Get your computer, ipad or cell phone started up, and have your favorite internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.) up and running. The larger screen you can use, the more fun!

[2] GET FOOD & DRINK! – Go to the fridge and get some egg nog (or equivalent), and something to munch on! 

[3] GO TO THE SAENGERFEST WEBSITE (congratulations, you’ve already done that!) – Go to WWW.SAENGERFEST.ORG/ so that you will have everything you need at your fingertips.

[4] Beneath the photos, click on whatever link you wish. That’s it.

HOW TO WATCH THE CONCERT ON YOUR TV

If you already have the YouTube channel on your TV –
[1] Start up YouTube on your TV (NOTE use YouTube, not YouTube TV)
[2] Click on the Search icon (looks like a magnifying glass)
[3] Enter Saengerfest
[4] Click on A Saengerfest Christmas Comes to You

HOW TO WATCH THE CONCERT ON YOUR TV, USING THE YOUTUBE APP –

Using the YOUTUBE APP on your Cell Phone –
[1] Start the YOUTUBE APP
[2] Click on the Search icon (looks like a magnifying glass)
[3] Enter Saengerfest
[4] Click on A Saengerfest Christmas Comes to You
[5] Click on the CASTing icon at the top of the window
[6] Select your TV’s name from the list

HOW TO WATCH THE CONCERT ON YOUR TV, USING APPLE TV –

[1] Open the Control Center on your iPhone by swiping down from the top right of your iPhone or iPad’s screen, [2] tap AirPlay Mirroring and select your Apple TV. [3] Your Apple TV will mirror whatever is on your device’s screen.
