Born in New Jersey and raised mostly in Pennsylvania, Dan is a retired treasurer and CFO from several mid-sized industrial companies. He also served as a lieutenant in Vietnam. He started singing at the age of ten while at boarding school and returned to singing only two years ago. “I wanted to get my voice back,” he says. “I am grateful for that and for the friendships that I have formed in the group.” He also volunteers with SCORE, helping people start, grow, or fix their small businesses. Dan and his wife of more than four decades, Faith, live in Boston’s Back Bay and have two children and three grandchildren. Interests include running, hiking, cross-country skiing, and, of course, music. Dan hangs onto a valuable piece of advice given to him once by a Brazilian seat mate on a flight to Sao Paulo: “Add a language, add a life.” For Dan, music is that language.
